Through lecture, exercises and dialogue, this workshop will address the many work related experiences and conditions that lead to compassion fatigue and/or burnout. The workshop has become for many social workers and for many of their clients, the single most stressful aspect of life, Lack of healthy levels of control, unclear job expectations, dysfunctional workplace dynamics, poor job fit, work-life, imbalance and other issues (as well as what we and our clients can do about them) will be covered.
