Motivational Interviewing Strategies in Clinical Supervision. Presented by Angela Wood, Ph.D., LCSW-BACS, CCS, C-CATODSW.

Covington Behavioral Health, 201 Greenbrier Blvd., Covington, LA 70433

Motivational interviewing is an evidence-based practice developed by William Miller and Stephen Rollnick to explore and resolve ambivalence around behavioral health change by focusing on change talk. This collaborative approach to working with clients also works well within the supervisory relationship. The purpose of this workshop is to help clinical supervisors apply motivational interviewing in supervision as well as reflect on their own strengths and areas for improvement. 3.0 Clinical/Supervision hours. Pre-registration deadline is 6/8/18. Limited to 80 participants.
