Child Welfare Evaluation Virtual Summit Series

Child Welfare Evaluation Virtual Summit Series

After the cancellation of the 2013 National Child Welfare Evaluation Summit, the Children's Bureau (CB) developed a new, online venue that uses video as a way to advance the major objectives of the conference.  The group of 17 videos is designed to build capacity for improved evaluation, promote dialogue among evaluation stakeholders, and disseminate information on key evaluation topics.

Each video tackles an evaluation-related topic, and many propose solutions to common evaluation problems and direct viewers to additional tools and resources.  The first two videos of the series are companion pieces to the recently released publication, Cost Analysis in Program Evaluation: A Guide for Child Welfare Researchers and Service Providers.  The two videos focus on cost analysis in child welfare program evaluation and introduce concepts and steps that can be applied by project directors and evaluators.
