CBCAP 101: Intro to Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention Programs Featured

The FRIENDS National Resource Center on Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention is pleased to announce the release of a new online learning course entitled CBCAP 101: An Introduction to the Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention (CBCAP) Program and FRIENDS National Resource Center. The course consists of three modules:

  • Module 1) CBCAP: An Overview of the CBCAP Program which provides an introduction and overview of the Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention Program. It is applicable to CBCAP State Lead agency staff, board members, parent leaders and other key stakeholders. If you are interested in learning more about CBCAP this module is for you.
  • Module 2) New CBCAP State Lead Training is specifically designed for new CBCAP State Lead agency staff. It provides you with information and resources on the CBCAP program, the roles and responsibilities of the CBCAP State Lead Agency, guidance on completing the CBCAP application and annual report as well as contact information for the CBCAP Federal Project Officer.
  • Module 3) FRIENDS National Resource Center on CBCAP focuses on the work of the FRIENDS National Resource Center which supports CBCAP State Lead Agencies in carrying out their responsibilities under Title II of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) by providing capacity-building training and technical assistance.
