Working with child abuse victims who have disabilities, including intellectual and communication disabilities, can be a challenge for those unaccustomed to such interactions. This workshop will provide the basics for interaction skills and communication skills to use with child abuse victims who have mental retardation, autism, and other disabilities that interfere with understanding and communication.
