This webinar, presented by two members of the CWLA Mental Health Advisory Board, will share evidence about the positive outcomes that result from families being engaged as partners in the work, and strategies for realizing positive outcomes at your own organizations.
Pat Hunt is the Executive Director of FREDLA located in Maryland. As a nationally recognized family-leader, Hunt brings over 30 years of experience promoting and advancing positive outcomes for children with behavioral health needs and their caregivers. She has extensive experience overseeing both federal and state grants and has served as the founding director of a statewide family-run organization.
Paulette Mader, MSN is a Senior Training and Consultation Specialist with Rutgers University located in New Jersey. Paulette Mader is a member of the Promising Path to Success 2.0 Coaching Team working with NJ DCF Office of Education and Out of Home Schools using the evidenced-based model, 6 Core Strategies© for Preventing Violence, Trauma, and the Use of Seclusion and Restraint in Behavioral Health Settings. As a caregiver to a child with behavioral health challenges, Paulette brings to the job a strong and effective family voice.
This program has been approved for one (1) Continuing Education Unit (CEU) by the NASW Washington State Chapter.
