Project Harmony Presents Virtual Speaking of Children: Keynote Event & Training Series In Partnership with Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and the US Attorney’s Office – District of Nebraska
Speaking of Children, with the mission of inspiring and educating the community in the fight against child abuse, is Project Harmony’s signature event which engages everyone in the community to learn about and join in our efforts to end child abuse and neglect. This year, we are proud to present Speaking of Children virtually with a Keynote Event featuring world-class swimmer, Diana Nyad, and a monthly Training Series hosting nationally-recognized presenters.
While the Training Series is focused on professional advancement in the child welfare field, these monthly presentations and the Keynote Event are open to all interested community members.
During a normal year, Speaking of Children is a two-day conference and luncheon including phenomenal plenary presentations and break-out sessions for Law Enforcement, Prosecutors, CPS Workers, Medical Providers, Victim Advocates and Treatment & Prevention Providers. Typically hosted in downtown Omaha at the CHI Health Center Omaha, it has attracted more than 1,200 participants each year since 2008.
Virtual Keynote Event: Wednesday, April 14, 2021, 12:00 PM
A video recording of the Keynote Event will be available to ticket purchasers unable to attend the live event on April 14.
