The event will celebrate Kinship Care Month, while highlighting the critical role kinship navigator programs play in the child and family well-being system. Children’s Bureau Associate Commissioner Aysha Schomberg will share the bureau’s kinship priorities. Partners from Idaho, Louisiana, and Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians will share insights about their programs.
