CFSR Round 3 Statewide Data Indicators – CB State Call Presentation (Transcript, PDF of Slide Presentation, WebEx): This is the Children’s Bureau presentation on the CFSR statewide data indicators and national standards with changes to the Federal Register notice issued in May. CB delivered this presentation on June 25, 2015, during a WebEx briefing for states. The transcript and video include questions and answers. The transcript clarifies one answer (see page 15) given in response to a question asked during the presentation.

CFSR Round 3 Statewide Data Indicator Series (link): These seven publications from the Capacity Building Center for States provide information and data on the seven CFSR indicators for use in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities and CFSR trainings. These factsheets take complex data calculations related to states’ performances on CFSRs and condense them into a digestible reference to help state leaders, CQI staff, and other interested child welfare professionals understand and confidently explain CFSR data indicators to a variety of audiences.
CFSR Round 3 Statewide Data Indicators – Workbook (PDF): This workbook [amended May 2015] provides detailed, state-by-state performance on the CFSR Round 3 statewide data indicators, comparisons against the national standards, and baseline and improvement goals for states whose initial results indicate the need for a Program Improvement Plan.
Overview of CFSR 3 Statewide Data Indicators Syntax (PDF): This document provides an overview of the syntax and supporting files used by the CB to calculate data quality, observed performance, and risk-standardized performance for the CFSR Round 3 statewide data indicators.
