Overview: In a virtual classroom setting, attendees will become better prepared to support children’s healthy and safe sexual development, identify and respond to warning signs in children and adult’s behaviors in their programs, and design safety plans to address safe boundaries, privacy, consent and respect.
In an interactive online environment, participants will discuss barriers to taking protective actions, and build confidence and knowledge to actively promote protective factors. Use of small group discussions and activities, brief homework assignments, and role plays will support attendees’ learning journey that includes preparing to lead conversations both about children’s safety and in discussing specific concerning behaviors and vulnerable situations for children.

Monday, 2/13/2023 through Thursday, 2/16/2023; 1:00pm – 4:00pm ET. (4 consecutive days)
Cost: $285 ($295 with CE credits)
Recommended Audience: Professional caregivers, (i.e. foster parents, youth residential staff, youth program support staff, sexual assault and response professionals, child protective service professionals, child and family advocacy professionals, educational professionals) youth-serving organization employees in any role, and anyone interested in preventing child sexual abuse.
