Dismantling Institutional Racism in Child Welfare Brick by Brick: Championing Reunification-Hybrid-Chicago

You’re invited to join Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois for our hybrid community meeting as we explore engagement with families of color in order to champion reunification.

Learn how LCFS created a culture focused on supporting families and increased successful reunifications for children of color.

Attendees will also hear directly from parents of color about their experiences with the child welfare system and how we as a system should better support families in the future.

Together we can learn, create better outcomes for children and families and dismantle institutional racism in child welfare brick by brick.

12:00 – 12:30 p.m. Registration and lunch provided to in person attendees at DePaul Center, 8th Floor Conference Center, 1 E. Jackson Blvd., Suite 8005, Chicago, IL
