Louisiana Children’s Trust Fund Speaker Series – third Wednesday each month at noon.

Join the conversation with Katina Semien Smothers, JD, Executive Director of the Louisiana Children’sTrust Fund & Dr. Jessica Jones, as they discuss how racism, implicit bias & stigma can be pervasive & create barriers to how we identify & deliver services that can impact families & children. Defining &identifying what racism & bias looks like is crucial in creating meaningful & impactful relationships as well as cultivating trust & respect in our homes, workplace & the communities we serve. This discussion will focus on strategies to stop racism in its tracks & further provide recommendations for organizations to work together to create a future where children thrive & race does not predict their life outcomes.
