Keeping Children Safe Online

Thursday, November 18, 2021, 11:30am – 12:30pm

Due to COVID-19, kids and adults are online more that ever, often unsupervised in the same space. The opportunities kids have to socialize online come with benefits and risks. This presentation will examine kids and computer security, online gaming, social networking risks, testing, and sexting.

About the Speaker: The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is to help find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization. NCMEC works with families, victims, private industry, law enforcement, and the public to assist with preventing child abductions, recovering missing children, and providing services to deter and combat child sexual exploitation.

THIS IS A MONTHLY SERIES HOSTED BY LOUISIANA CASA-CURRENTLY SCHEUDLED THROUGH JUNE 30, 2022. Sign up for each month separately.
