Child and Family Futures is pleased to announce the release of the third resource in the Prevention and Family Recovery Initiative (PFR) Putting Ideas Into Action: Knowledge Application Series: Data Capacity: What Is It and Does Our Family Treatment Court Team Have It? This brief describes the 10 building blocks of data capacity, discusses how FTC teams can assess their cross-systems data capacity, and provides selected tips to help teams with concrete next steps to strengthen their data capacity.
CFF has also prepared a companion video for Advancing a Family-Centered Approach: Lessons from the Prevention and Family Recovery Initiative to highlight lessons and strategies for FTCs to implement family-centered practices.
CFF hopes the PFR Knowledge Application Series will help guide other FTCs and jurisdictions striving to improve their programs, practices, and policies to better serve all families in the child welfare system affected by parental SUDs.
